  A place for a savior who didn't save.
  
  If heaven's without you, what good is forever?
  What good is forever?
  
  In flesh, the kiss of death is sweet,
  Returning home after a lifetime spent away.
  In spirit, the earth is left to wonder.
  I want it to be silent, I want it to be quiet.
  
  Heaven is where you aren't.
  It's the comfort of the cold.
  The hole in my heart that was never filled.
  The repose of standing alone.
  No one left to let down.
  No one left to aggrieve.

  As if the plan was ever human.
  Among the architects of fire
  He burns the only thing he's ever loved.
  
  I thought to sift through all the wreckage,
  But instead I watched it burn.
